My god I can't wait, I am so glad they are done with the design it looks great! I have been dying for a moleskine case ever since you came out with the M.bian design!
I sort of hope a great moleskine bag will look a bit more unusual. Mark's case is a little "square" IMHO. Still a great toolbox to carry around all things you needed.
I agree with you Patrick. It does seem kind of ordinary at present and Moleskine's cry out for something that's unusual.

I'm not overly fond of notebook cases with all-round zips either. With a relatively thin notebook like a Moleskine, you won't be able to avoid your hand resting on the zipper, and that's uncomfortable as well as awkward.
How exciting. I'm sure if the public responds favorably, this will only mark the beginning. Just think of all the clones moleskine has generated.

I love it!
Wow, my whole comment went missing. Anyway, I love it, especially the custom fabric. I disagree about the full zipper being a problem- I wouldn't buy it without that full zipper for fear of losing loose items in the folio. I fear my pens and pencils wouldn't fit securely in those wide pen holders, but as the folio zips I'm not worried. Can't wait to buy it!!

Oh...mah...gawd....

I must have one. The pens could've been protected with just a flap over them, but maybe that annoys people having to lift the flap to stick their pens in. Nevertheless, I'll end up buying one and wanting another one.

Hey everyone, thanks for your comments -- and special thanks to Patrick for posting my updates on this site. I've already had more than 1400 views from this link! We're currently making our first batch of folios. I can't wait to get them out there so people can start using them and thinking of more great ideas. As a designer, I realize people have different ideas about style and function. Let's see where this first design leads us. Thanks for your continued interest and patience. -Mark (mark@rickshawbags.com)
Hey Mark, prototyping like this is great fun. Thanks for always sharing video like this.
Well it sure looks lighter than my Oberon leather cover - which I just don't even use anymore. Also looks lighter and smaller than my Eagle Creek cover - so maybe, depending on the cost this will be a great option . I like the option of cover material and trim.
