Could you post a rough of what you need to make this happen? What is the missing component: do you just need to get a mfg/dist interested or is something more required?

his will be a great product if it's out to market.
I'll buy this men.

I am with Leslie - I think that's a great case for a Moleskine. I carry a few of them. A medium size for work, and a small Reporter for notes. I also have cahiers, and pocket size grids, etc.

I alway keep some European note cards (75x125mm) in quadrille, and the case would hold plenty of those too.

As to your travels - like you, I often head out to stationary stores when I visit a new place. On my honeymoon to St. Martin, I looked in the phone book and saw "papiterie" and told my wife we would visit. On my return, I declared about $90 in "stationary supplies" and the Custom's Agent looked at me like I was an idiot. Or a geek.

Please keep us posted - let us know what we can do to possibly help the M.Bian product move forward.

I've been using the Spec-Ops Pocket organizer case for about a month now.

I don't know what happened to the rest of my comment above so here I go again:

I've been using the Spec-Ops Pocket organizer case for about a month now. I can't help but notice that I've configured it like a wanna be M.Bian Moleskine Case. It's obvious to me how well thought out your design is. My Spec-Ops wanna be M.Bian Case just isn't cutting it. Is there anything I can do to convince you to once again consider producing your case?

Thanks all!!! For the support and love of M.bian. What I need, with your help to send the post to any large suppliers you know interested, is to have quantity made in ~800pcs to thousands so that the cost can be reduced to a level even I myself can purchase. This is important not because I want to make it big, but the material cost and quality control is necessary to make it a durable product. The material you saw in various pictures are scrap fabrics from the factory, they will have to buy larger quantity to get cost down for each M.bian produced. The quality needed to be checked for every sigle piece. Anyway, my permanent job won't allow me to have time to handle this to make a product a reality. Another option is for me to license this design to some company interested in it, which I don't have time to find out who, you may forward to people you know to help :)

To make it simple, I myself cannot handle the production execution, if you want to help, send the post to people/company you think would be interested to make it happen. Thanks again all!!!!
I made a request to Timbuk2 to make this. If anyone is interested please let them know at the following link:

Thank you very much Joe!!!!

Patrick: I can help you. I'm a Moleskine enthusiast myself, and I make bags.
