PoGo No Go

Hmmm... I too was absolutely enamored with the idea of the PoGo. I guess not anymore.

It reminds me of the wireless USB hub technology available. It's an absolutely fantastic concept, but the technology just isn't there yet.

Well that is indeed unfortunate bc I also would have liked to have had one for travel. The pic quality on here look good but I guess thats due to your superb photography skills. :) Thanks for letting us know about this. Bummer. How is the fuji one though?
I like my PoGo! One thing I noticed is that it's definitely sensitive to heat buildup. If you used it straight after charging the battery, that streaking may in fact be due to heat build up because of the way Zink works.

Also you compare it to lab prints but that's not fair really. I mean do you compare Polaroid 600 film to lab prints?

And having the photo as a sticker is great, though I do wish the ink adhered to non-paper materials better. It is already peeling off of my Moleskine cover.

That said, I do wish print quality was better but for what it is, I'm happy with mine. I recently took it to South Africa and it was great to be able to print friends' pics right away from their cell phones.

aah i am so glad that i bought pivi and i have been very satisfied with it so far!!
ThruMyLens, Fuji's instax printer Pivi is far better in terms of print quality IMHO. Glad you got your own notebookdoodies.

Carl, I'm quite sure the strips are not because of heat built up during charging. Yup, it is not fair to compare different technologies but as a photo print from Polaroid, I expected a better quality than it is now.
