Photo Journaling A Lot Easier with Pivi

So awesome, so good. We can't get them here in the US :( but this is what I've had my eyes on lately ! http://www.polaroid.com/pogo/us/index.html

Have you seen these yet?
PoGo! I'm yet to see its quality. I think the technology is totally different, I want to see how the photos look. I hate dye-sub photos, inkjet is better, film is best (pivi included) :)

Check out http://www.polaroid.com/pogo/us/buy.html
I hope to test it when I will be in the states August, otherwise in Photokina.

That looks beautiful. I'm still trying to savour the last few packs of 600 film that I have and considered taping them to my sketchbook moley.

I too have my apprehension about the commercialisation of moleskine but.. I'm really just waiting for something else come up that would feel better.

This reminds me of the Polaroid P-500 which takes the Joycam size film. Is the picture similar to a Polaroid?

The Pogo looks interesting too. May have to check that out for on the go journaling.

I bought the Pogo last week. It's easy to use and small enough to carry around. I also wanted it for travel journaling. The picture quality does not "pop" as much as I would like. The print looks like it is about the same size as the Pivi but is borderless. I sort of miss the Polaroid looking white borders. Anyone know how to purchase a Pivi in the U.S? I saw one on ebay...but am concerned that getting the film would be a problem.
hey patrick, what camera did you use for all these photos? whats your view on Fujifilm instax mini 55i?
Edwin, Canon IXUS70. 55i I have no experience of it.

Thanks for posting this. I think you are on to something here. Writing in a journal is great - but photographic records should appeal very well to a much larger audience. These photos that print as "stickers" - I love the idea.

Hi Patrick,

You had a very interesting blog here, needless to say all the stationery related photos! Love them. Do you happen to conduct workshop on travel journal?
Can you recommend nice stationery stores in Hong Kong?

Oh my gosh, I think I'm in love with that!!
I stumbled upon your blog while I was researching the Moleskine City notebooks and have to say I am glad I did. This looks like the perfect thing to help with my travel journaling while studying abroad this year. I think it will definitely be worth the money spent on ebay!
