Parafernalia Flirt Ballpoint Pen with Wooden Stand
Last week I was in New York, I went to Kate's Paperie, which is a great store (they are relocating in Soho), I found one pen on display with a 50% discount POP. The original price was USD$45 for this very nice shape (like a street lamp post) ballpoint pen.
Since Kate's couldn't find the box of this Italian pen, I asked if I could have the wooden pen stand and the sales person said "yeah of course". So I got my a 50%-off Italy-made pen with a wooden stand (as seen below).
I wish I could find a roller ball refill replacement that fits in the barrel, anyway.... here's some of the designs and concepts behind the Flirt line and the Revolution line.
"This is a "romantic" pen. Everything about it, from its shape to the warm material and the soft mechanisms, bear witness to a precise mood. Its shape is inspired to the famous pylons of Venice and the classical Greek pillars. The execellent plastics and chromed metal complete this pen by the unique style." - Designer: Sergio Carpani"
