More Innovations from MT Masking Tapes

Thanks to Mr. Wang from MT, last week I received a package of masking tape samples which are limited editions only to be sold in their very own new shop near Waseda University in Tokyo.

Kamoi's beautiful washi paper made masking tapes are getting so popular, many end user inspiration just keep coming in as evident from MT's web site. These new patterns and sizes you see here gives a hint about MT's development, more applications built-in to the tapes, like labels, wallpaper, wrapping paper and Xmas versions.

Check out MT's blog and you'll see how the shop looks like, can't wait to be there next year. If you can imagine it, Kamoi can make it, so don't be shy to send mail to them to suggest new product ideas.

They are gorgeous! What a supremely lucky man you are. My favourite is the first one on the left. The labels look like they could be from wine bottles or old book nameplates. I wish I had some for my pantry =(

.. too bad MT's tapes are not available for purchase outside of Japan... :[

yup, sorry that I am always making people jealous, for things they cannot get hahah. If you see more nice photos of tapes in action, please suggest them to add to the flickr group.

Yes Phoebe, the labels are great for glass jars too. I can imagine having jars of MT tapes in different color spectrums.

ShmiShmoo, I think there are some online shops selling them, try dig them out.

These tapes are so cool, and there must be a million uses for those labels. I like Phoebe's idea to use them on wine bottles. My friends make their own wine every fall and these would be perfect for that.

I gave Olgua one blue tape and our door is now full of his drawings and photos I took.
