Lomo World Congress - 2nd Day
My day started with Dr. Gerald Matt, Director of Kunsthalle Wein on the subject "The Making of an Exhibition". It was not a typical lomographer's workshop but it got us a glimpse of what things are being considered from an art institute for exhibitions execution. From running a business, to politics and the struggle between popular visits of a museum to obligations to bring arts awareness to the public, Gerald covered a lot and he couldn't stop by telling us all. I am totally interested in his "Indicator of Success" form, which he would ask people who are interested to do projects with Kunsthalle Wein to fill-in and evaluate. For me it was a new exposure to the world of museum and art galleries. I should be able to cover more of his topic later on.
The whole tour was about graffiti and we took lots and lots of pictures and the challenge is that every film submitted will be developed and will be used to add to the last 20,000 photos on the lomo wall in Trafalgar Square.
After finished the walk around 4:30pm everybody gathered in front of a cafe and films were collected for development.
For a few pounds you get your film developed. There is just too much I want to share but my battery is running out.....
