The other day I was taking my son's picture for an Ocean Park annual pass renewal. He was making all kinds of faces and one of them was his recall of how I would ask him to think of the taste and smell of his food by closing his eyes.
Today a friend of mine told me about this great
Poladroid app which transforms your perfect digital photos into magical Polaroids, with optional touches like finger prints and film dirts. When the app (in the form of a One600 Polaroid camera) spits out a photo, you get an authentic mechanical roller sound. Photos take time to develop as you watch. Grab the photo using your mouse and shake it a little bit, it looks developing faster (which is in reality a myth). You can only do 10 photos a time because in reality, each 600 film cartridge only has 10 films. The app is free and currently in Mac version, PC version will come out soon in November. There is also a Flickr group "
be Poladroided" for people to upload their Poladroided photos. I wish the developer will create a version which you can choose what kind of camera to use, e.g. my favorite SX-70.

and like you said, it will be even better if we can choose what kind of camera to use.
I'm waiting for the Windows version too. :)
