I've been taking my parents to hospitals throughout these 2 months. Dad's Parkinson's disease, Mom's Cataract and Glaucoma. After some complications, Mom is going to have a 3rd operation for her Glaucoma this coming Thursday. My son is infected with Adeno virus since 2 days ago, his temperature is fine during the day but shoots up real high throughout the night. It has been sleepless for us to keep giving him medicines and calming him down from crying intervals at every 20 minutes. Imagine all these happening during the busiest season in a year for retail. Oh BTW, seems like we have to move out of this flat in Dec/Jan coz landlord is getting it back....... It feels awful.
Not a problem! To light up the house's atmosphere, I decided to come home earlier last night and pull all xmas decorations out. My son watched with delights and jumping around happily saying "I'm so excited! They are so beautiful!" "I'm so happy!" YEAH! That's the words I'd like to hear, "I'm so happy!" He also played being a little bear altering his voice saying all these sweetest cutest words. Finally, my living room is now lit up with 2 Xmas trees, windows full of Xmas lights, ceiling decorated by
Laserpods. A cone shaped Santa Claus sometimes appears in front of the trees, sometimes hands raised looking excited. Wife came back from work very late, we switched off normal lamps and welcomed her with a "Merry Xmas". Life is good, let's be happy!
