Dressco: Takeo Paper Products
In my last Japan business trip I took some time to visit my flickr friend's work place to find out more about his work and passion. I visited KE-TA who work as a director for the web division of Nippon Design Center. We knew each other through sharing experience using Traveler's Notebook.
It was such a fun I bought Pen Clip (Authentics.de) from Germany as a gift to him and he bought me some very nice Japanese paper notebooks branded as Dressco from Takeo Paper Products.
The fine paper quality can really get you started to appreciate ... paper. You really don't want to use them, you just want to own them. Anyway, I'll put them into tests.
The larger one on the background in gold color contains super thin onion skin like paper. The elastic band on the smaller notebook is not directly attached to the notebook. It is sold separately and attached to a piece of hard paper used both as bookmark and writing pad.
I even went to their store in the same trip just because of this introduction. It was a pleasant journey, considering the fact that I finally met a flickr friend and shared with him a lot of interests and experience. On the other hand, each trip is another chance to explore to the unknown from my small world.
