A Morning with Joei Lau
I had a great time meeting Joei on 16th Feb
2007. I met her on Flickr and found that she's teaching Western
calligraphy, Japanese book binding craft and once in a while exhibit
her works among others.
We shared a lot about our love of paper, calligraphy, our exhibition experience etc. She will hold a visual journal exhibition around Sep/Oct 07, which I can probably participate by sending her my work.
I took a polaroid of my notebook drawing to give her, and took another polaroid of her very nice Japanese homemade journal/album for my keeping. Each of us wrote something on the Polaroids.

The binding is made of different color
paper, each page has a pocket to put in small photo/tag decorated with
"ribbons".
