#2 Worst Hotel Arranged by Company

Talk about suffering for your art! Sorry about your experience, but your postcards are simply fantastic!!
Many thanks! Enjoy sending them while the service is still available.
Hey Patrick - this is terrible news about your hotel stay...we'll have to stay in contact before you come to NYC next time (Armand too, he recently had a poor hotel experience). The 'event' organizers have a list of hotels to buyers, if this hotel is on the list - we need to let them know about the no air and bed bug issue, I'll check it out. NYC has better places for business people to stay. I am so sorry for your experience. Perhaps your good vendors should help with a hotel discount - the president of Kikkerland will want to help you find something better next time I am sure. I wouldn't have thought NYC would treat unexpecting visitors this way. See you in Hong Kong, October.
Hey Laura, thanks. I've sent the video of two bugs running on my colleague's bed to HR manager. Time to change all these. KOLO once helped me to get a great hotel with similar rate and I appreciated a lot. And thanks for Kikklerland's kind offer. I'm sure at a slightly higher rate + recommendation from vendor we can get better hotel even in peak season, our company's travel agent just follow instruction based on budget. I just need to pay more attention to what was offered to me. Oh poor Armand! BTW, what is the name of the art supply show? NAMBTA?
OH MY GOD!! those were in your bed!!! omg!! I've heard about bad experiences with hotels but this tops them. I'd so overnight a package of them to whoever sent me to that hotel :-), and your postcards rock! what's in that hymn book?
oh wait until you see the video my colleague took, they were running around on his bed (luckily he found that out only on the very last day morning when he was preparing to checkout, saved him some sleepless nights).
Hymn book is actually an ipod cover from Suck UK, nice isn't it:

I love stationery and I want to buy some especial stationery but I can't,because I am living in Taiwan.Maby you can tell me where to buy especial stationery in the network. <( ̄▽ ̄)/ Bye!!

That's sucks man. When ever we go for business trip, we booked the hotel by ourselves as possible as we can, otherwise ...

I still remember the business trips I went around 2 years ago. All are 4-5 stars hotel in Taipei, as least I can have a good sleep after long night work.

E Sheng, thanks. I think Eslite has some very nice stationery section, especially in the A9 area near 101. I haven't seen any web site having a good variety of nice stationery products, still I thing specialty stationery stores are better.

AC, at least I get some referral from vendors for my next trips to NYC. Only that company budget will probably only get me 2 stars during peak seasons like summer.
That's coolest cover ever!

Hey Patrick...that's totally sucky that your HR dept would subject you guys to such flea-ridden hotels while on a business trip.

If you go back to NYC, I highly recommend a cute 3* which I stayed in myself this past May for 5 days: The Belvedere on 48th Street (between 8th and 9th Ave). Very clean room, no dirty towels and definitely no bugs, bed or otherwise. And a working AC that never failed. Oh...and a friendly team of service staff.
Thanks Kisane! Next time I should post our budget limitation and ask for people's help to get a better one.
